With over thirty years of experience in the Indian insurance industry in government and private insurance companies with specialization in Marine.

Currently is EVP, HDFC ERGO General Insurance, Head Marine, SME and Broking; Member IUMI Cargo Committee; and Member Advisory Committee of Indian Insurance Institute.

A regular speaker at various industry forums and faculty at training institutes like NIA, Pune and III. The editor of marine magazine MARCOPOLO (1995-1999) and has contributed to industry magazines like IRDA Journal and Pravartak.

An avid blogger and sports enthusiast, he plays an active role in the coordination of Marine Underwriters under the aegis of General Insurance Council of India.
