Manas Vaid

Manas holds a Bachelors of Science (Hons) degree in Marine Engineering from Birla, Institute of Technology and Science University – Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI). Following that he sailed as Marine Engineer Officer onboard tankers with TORM A/S and in 2008, relocated to London to complete his Master’s degree in Maritime Operations and Management from City University London.

He holds good knowledge related to technical, commercial, and legal aspect of ship operations and management, working ashore for over 11 years and presently serving as Head of Marine Claims in Treasury & Risk Management of A. P. Moller Maersk Group.

Manas served on the SPNL (London) board in 2010 and is Founding Chairman of SPNM (The Shipping Professional Network in Mumbai – www.spnm.in)
